The superb 18 hole championship golf course at Clearwater was designed by well known NZ Golf Architect, John Darby, in collaboration with Sir Bob Charles. It was first opened in 2001 and has been the venue for the annual New Zealand PGA Championship since 2002. In 2009 Clearwater hosted the inaugural New Zealand Women’s Open. The course offers a stimulating test of golf with many lakes, streams and native plantings to capture
wayward shots. For more information go to www.clearwaternz.com
