Title:Awareness advocate takes on a new challenge

Abstract:On Feb 7th Jeremy Burfoot will attempt to break two "jetski" world records as part of his mission to raise melanoma awareness. He's leading an optimistic attempt on the World 1000km (Time) and 6 hour (Distance) PWC (Jetski) records on Lake Karapiro.

Title:Women in Business Raise Funds for Melanoma

Abstract:The Melanoma Foundation will benefit from more than $4000 raised at a charity auction hosted by Kapiti's  Women in Business Network on December 14th. The fundraising venture was inspired by Sarah Wilson, adventure coach and "post melanoma thriver.

Title:Gisborne support for the Melanoma Foundation

Abstract:At the melanoma information evening on December 13th Georgia Paulson presented the Melanoma Foundation with more than $1200. This was the combined result of fundraising around her ride in the Taupo Cycle Challenge and a mufti day held at Gisborne Girls High School.

Title:Cycling for Melanoma

Abstract:24 competitors braved strong winds on November 26th to complete the Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge wearing Melanoma Foundation cycle shirts. The bright shirts looked great and made a bold statement for melanoma awareness.

Title:Awareness in the Bay of Plenty

Abstract:Bethlehem Farmers Market. On November 20th the Tauranga Melanoma Friends group held a melanoma awareness stall at the Farmers Market in Bethlehem. The Melanoma Foundation's nurse Lyn was there along with Ellen, Lyn and Trevor and others from from the Tauranga group.
